February Forum |
( 2/29/08) |
Over 50 Hub members attended Keegan Ales !
Feb 19th, Kingston, NY......Over 50 Hub members attended Keegan Ales as the first official get together for 2008. The night focused on opening up the structure of the Hub to it's members allowing them to become more involved and help the organization evolve into a vibrant, energetic and driven team. Todd Hutton opened the evening by highlighting the successful feedback and interest that has been generated since the press conference in December. After introducing the advisory council, each of the sub committee chairs took a few moments with the crowd to run through their 2008 objectives and solicit for new members for each group. Tom Keegan, the owner of Keegan Ales, also took some time to address the crowd. Tom spoke passionately about community involvement and how it plays a big role in his business as well as the surrounding businesses in the Kingston area. He spoke about how it is always important to "give back, get involved and be active". This resonated with the members in attendance as it reflects the core of the Hub's mission statement.
New Hub member, Tara Schinsing owner of Controlled Chaos Home Staging, always wanted to visit Keegan Ales and welcomed the Hub invite to check it out. "It was a great event! It was fun to be around a crowd that has similar goals of building your career and striving to become successful. This was a great way to meet new people and network with your peers."
